About the role:
As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students improve their learning outcomes through tailored boosters and intervention sessions. You will work with small groups and individual students who need extra support, helping them develop essential skills in literacy and numeracy. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing them with the one-on-one attention they need to thrive.
This part-time role offers flexibility, making it a great fit for those seeking to balance work with other commitments. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff, ensuring that every child gets the best possible experience at school.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (ideally in Key Stage 2).
• A passion for helping children succeed and a positive attitude.
• Experience with boosters and interventions (desirable but not essential).
• Knowledge or experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) (desirable).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver targeted boosters and interventions to Key Stage 2 students.
• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN and other learning needs.
• Assist class teachers with day-to-day activities, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports all learners.
