We are currently working with a very high profile international clien who are a leading facilities management provider in the UK. They require an experienced Chef – minimum CDP level for the contract catering operation in Ripon. This is intended to be a permanent position but will start on a temp contract for a period of 12 weeks before changing to a permanent role.
You will be part of a larger chef brigade but be expected to work independently as and when required. It is crucial that you are comfortable following spec lists for meal preperation, and are fully understanding of all relevant health & safety food hygeine requirements. With this in mind you must have a Food Hygeine Certificate minimum level 2.
Due to the nature of the site in question, you will be expected to have a Standard DBS or be willing to obtain one if successful.
Rate of pay is £14.00 per hour PAYE both while on a temp contract and will remain the same rate when changing to a permanent role. You will be contracted to a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week with some weekend work required. Hours of work will be between 6am and 8pm.
