Description of Essential Job Functions
* Optimize sales resources to most effectively accelerate profitable sales to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals while managing a territory operating budget.
* Work in partnership with the Technical Support Specialist to develop and execute an annual accelerated business growth plan that includes new product launches, pricing management, distribution management, etc.
* Industry Awareness: Monitor appropriate segments and competitive offerings and adjust tactics and go-to-market strategy accordingly.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and non-customers in the territory.
* Utilize and update CRM MS 365 platform daily to manage the assigned territory.
* Approach the position with a can-do, entrepreneurial spirit, strong business acumen, and a desire to drive accelerated sales growth.
* Team Player: Must be able to professionally work closely with Technical Support Specialists, Marketing, Applications group, and R&D teams to overcome customer obstacles to maintain and gain new business.
* Ensure compliance with and/or follow all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and comply with relevant legal mandates. Seek guidance as necessary.
* Actively support and participate in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
* Carry out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.
* Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
* Handle various other duties as delegated by VP Sales & Marketing America’s.
Knowledge
* Bachelor’s Degree in business management, life sciences, or a related field required.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B sales required that includes the following:
* Experience in sales in the food & beverage market.
* Experience in sales and/or marketing in the healthcare market, preferably food diagnostics.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat required.

Working Conditions
* Frequent travel required.
* May occasionally work evenings and travel occasionally on weekends.
* Home office environment.
Physical Demands
* This position is considered light work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the employee sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
* Required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer screen.
* Frequently required to maintain a static position, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions.
Work Environment
* The work environment is typical of office or administrative work. The work environment is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
