The Role
We have an opportunity for a Training Co-ordinator to join the UK and Ireland EHS&Q team. This position will be based in Coventry.
Pay range depending on experience - £26 -30K
Duties
This role is ideal for a highly organised and motivated individual, with proven experience in a structured administrative role. You will be methodical and thorough in your approach, ensuring that all objectives and deadlines are met.
A multi-tasking self-starter, you must strive for excellence in your accuracy of information and training provision to Univar Solutions staff.
Amongst your many responsibilities in this varied role will be:-
* Supporting the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality training program provided by both internal trainers and external providers.
* Respond promptly to queries form external service providers and internal customers via phone, email or face to face communications as applicable.
* Co-ordinate course bookings both externally and internally, distribute relevant paperwork and joining instructions.
* Liaising with operational managers to ensure their team members attend allocated training.
* Maintain accurate records of training results.
* Ensure that refresher training is notified to those requiring training and arranged in a timely manner
* Update personnel training records with training completed and certification.
* Manage certification distribution as applicable.
* Responsible for supporting the EHS&Q induction process
* Arranging/organising purchase orders.
* Keep databases updated and input into spreadsheets with precision.
* Support Regional EHS Managers and Quality Managers with preparation of training materials and handouts.
* Assist the wider team with various administrative tasks as required.
We Are Looking For
* Strong communication skills
* have a excellent attention to detail and be able to work alone when required. It is essential that you are self-motivated, focused and flexible
* high degree of numeracy, with exceptional organisational skills backed up with strong Excel and other IT skills (MS Office suite)
A knowledge of the ordering process in SAP would be ideal but not essential. More importantly a “can do” attitude is essential .
