Job Summary
We are seeking 2 x Two Man Repair & Maintenance Gangs for work in North London.
Key Skills Required for This Role
Location:
* North London
* Various sites, primarily focused on streetworks and utility maintenance
Scope of Work:
* Removal and replacement of chambers and interceptors
* Excavation, backfilling, and reinstatement of trenches
* Ensuring compliance with Streetworks and Health & Safety regulations
* Working in confined spaces as required
* Liaising with site management and other trades to ensure smooth project progression
Key Requirements:
* Must hold a valid Medium Risk Confined Space certification (essential)
* Streetworks ticket (essential)
* SSSTS or equivalent supervisory qualification (preferred but not essential)
* Proven ability to manage and lead small teams effectively
* Experience working on the Thames Water Framework (preferred)
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards and compliance
* Operative:
o Valid CSCS card (essential)
o Streetworks (NRSWA) certification (preferred but not mandatory)
o Experience working on the Thames Water Framework (preferred)
o Experience with drainage, chamber work, and interceptor installations
o Confined space certification is advantageous but not essential
* Competitive rates based on experience and qualifications
* Long-term stability with 14 months of guaranteed work
* Opportunity for further projects upon successful completion
Duration:
* 14 months, with the potential for contract extension based on performance
