Job Title: Nursery Assistant Location: Wythenshawe Salary: £415 - £475 per week dependant on experience and qualifications. As a Nursery Assistant you will support the care and development of young children in a nursery setting. You would be working under the supervision of senior nursery staff, helping create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn. Responsibilities: Assist the room leader in delivering high-quality learning and support that caters to the diverse needs of the students. Provide one-on-one or small group support to children, ensuring that individual learning needs are met. Support students in developing social and emotional skills, promoting a positive learning environment. Supervising the children to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being, providing support for their basic needs such as feeding, dressing, and toileting. Requirements: Previous experience as a Nursery Assistant in a nursery setting or relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare or early years). A genuine passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage children and parents.
