As a Teacher of Science at the School the successful Candidate would be responsible for general Science teaching at KS3 and 4, and work within a supportive department of specialist practitioners. As a teacher within the Schools Science department you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to mixed ability Students, and to contribute to the departments journey of continually improving results. You should be able to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics to KS3, with the ability to teach at least one specialism to KS4.
The department is lead by its established and highly skilled Head of Department, supported by key stage leaders, and the Senior Leadership Team. The School is a large, mixed Secondary School with a vibrant 11-16 cohort. The School site enjoys state-of-the-art facilities, with fully equipped Science labs and a wealth of resources.
