Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Officer Salary: £39,267 - £42,294 per annum 35 Hours per Week Location: County Hall, Worcester Temporary: until 30 April 2026 The Role: We’re looking for someone with excellent skills and knowledge in understanding social care quality standards. We have an exciting development opportunity within Worcestershire County Council People Directorate, Commissioning and Quality Assurance Team. We are looking to recruit a Senior Quality Assurance Officer to cover the current position holder’s role while they cover a different position. This contract is currently expected to be until 30 April 2026. This is a key role supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in managing the Quality Assurance Team which ensures the quality of social care providers delivery of care to our residents in Worcestershire, providing a vital role in ensuring quality standards of care for some of our most vulnerable residents are risk managed and met in line with required regulations and statutory duties. You will be expected to supervise and manage Quality Assurance Officers and plan their work plans, as well as supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in preparation for CQC assessment, to review current practice against best in class, recommend and lead change and transformation actions where required and to continue to develop the team capabilities and approach to integration across our health and care system.
