Main duties of the job The postholder on this busy inpatient assessment ward will offer specific OT assessments and interventions to older people with both functional and organic mental health conditions. These will be offered on an individual basis in the ward and when appropriate, in community settings or the service user's home. The postholder will also contribute to the ward-based therapeutic group programme.The postholder will use the Model of Human Occupation and other relevant OT models, as well as the recovery framework, trauma-informed approach and sensory modulation awareness to inform their practice.
