We are a friendly multi-disciplinary team committed to providing a first class service to our patients at our base unit and mobile units. Additionally we provide cover for the Symptomatic clinics at Princess Anne Hospital. The department supports skill mix and we employ Assistant practitioners and Radiographers in role extension. The ability to work in a multi-professional team is essential, as is a commitment to the provision of a high quality service. You will be rotated through all aspects of breast care work, including screening, assessments, biopsies, mobile work and symptomatic clinics.
In addition to holding the Diploma of the College of Radiographers or relevant Radiography Degree, you must hold a UK recognised Post Graduate Award in Mammography or Certificate of Competence in Mammography from the College of Radiographers.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• HCPC registered mammographer
• Degree (BSc Honours in Radiography or equivalent qualification)
• Post graduate qualification in Mammography
• Willingness to take part in a flexible rota
• Experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative
solutions for new services
• Evidence of role specific continuing professional development
• Evidence of NHS experience
• Team work ethic
• Flexible and adaptable
• You will need to be able to drive, be willing to travel to our remote locations and have full
driving license
