Client:
Our client is a well-respected Property Services Contractor that have been operating for approximately 50 years. They specialise in property alterations and modifications, damage restoration and maintenance projects. They work with Social and Private Housing clients, Property Management Companies, Care Homes, Schools, Councils and Commercial Buildings.
Overview of Role:
Responsible for the planning and scheduling of job orders, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness whilst providing a first-class service to our customers. This role will require teamwork and close liaison with all stakeholders in the business and assist daily in managing targets and workflows effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
11. Be the initial point of contact for tenants for urgent, routine and adaption works
12. Scheduling customer appointments and creating events
13. Notifying customers on planned arrival of workers
14. Assigning jobs to relevant trade/department within the required job category via computer communication whilst considering cost, customer service and resource availability
15. Raising survey events on new COTs, Adaptions and Response jobs
16. Monitoring progress of all jobs to ensure all scheduled works are completed and PDAs completed correctly
17. Liaise with administration team, supervisor and management to answer queries and review works in progress
18. Liaise daily with client district maintenance officers/administrators
19. Monitoring of required completion dates, ensuring they are meet, or extension requested were required
20. Dealing with queries and complaint resolution
21. Maintaining standards and processes to reach KPI targets.
22. Support other planning areas when required as part of a cross-functional team environment
23. Prioritise customer orders by due date to support the company in meeting target deadline KPI
24. Escalate issues promptly to management and help resolve problems in a timely fashion

The Ideal Person:
26. IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office
27. Previous experience of scheduling / logistics
28. Experience in customer service and customer excellence
29. Experience operating within the construction industry with a focus toward housing maintenance
30. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships
31. Strong planning and organisation skills
32. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a cross functional team
33. Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines & targets
34. Good understanding of operating costs and productivity levels
35. Knowledge of construction and the skills off the team members
36. Good customer service/customer care skills
37. The ability to deal with the unexpected and good problem-solving skills
