We are recruiting for a multiskilled maintenance electrician to join a new team of mobile engineers in providing building services and plant room maintenance to key large scale estates across the North UK. The role is both a hands-on position and lead/supervisory as you will be involved in providing engineering expertise to the mobile operation with direct site liaison. You will be expected to have and excellent understanding of plant room and building services engineering, compliance and have a multiskilled background. The role is a Permanent position paying up to 50k for a full multiskilled/lead engineer. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week days plus overtime. Van supplied Travel will be involved as coverage can include North West/Yorkshire etc.
Maintenance Electrician Duties & Responsibilities Completing building services / electrical maintenance across industrial, governmental, and commercial facilities. To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems To cover all maintenance of lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems. To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service Work on AHU's, fans coils and general HVAC plant room Mechanical and fabric tasks where required Compliance checks Small works projects Lead and Supervisory works providing guidance to resident maintenance personnel, client managers and sub-contractors Provide guidance on compliance and scheduling of checks plus visibility of compliance records
Skills & Background Required Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3 Ideally electrical engineering / Qualified Electrician Multiskilled background, ideally to have experience on general HVAC plant including AHU's, fan coils etc. 18th edition Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment Must be presentable, articulate with a sound understanding of compliance and PPM paperwork and records Able to clear SC clearance Driving license and willing to operate on a mobile basis Ideally Lead or Supervisory experience Familiar with Facilities Management Sector
