Blue Arrow are looking for production operatives for their well-established client in Dingwall.
Job Summary:
As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that production lines run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for operating machinery, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate production machinery according to standard operating procedures.
Feed raw materials into production machinery.
Assemble goods on the production line.
Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
Inspect products for quality and remove defective items.
Pack finished products and prepare them for shipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Record and report production data, including downtime, output, and any issues.
Assist in the training of new staff members.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Production Operative or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
Knowledge of production machinery and quality control procedures.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
Basic math and recording abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay Rate starts at £12.90/hour, increasing to £13.40/hour after training.
Full time guaranteed 35 hours per week.
Travel from Inverness is provided.
