Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a change of scenery? If so, this could be the job that you are looking for! Job Reference: SK - 1426
Our client, an independent group, is looking for a new Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at one of their Lewisham clinics.
The Role:
Looking for a role with bags of autonomy and the opportunity to shape the future of the practice, paying up to £80,000?
This is a great role for you to lead a clinical team but focus on the clinical side with fantastic support from the practice manager and owners with other management responsibilities.
1. You can have a surgical bias and any specialisms will be supported.
2. Work 4 days a week and 1 in 3 Saturdays, with no Sundays or OOH.
3. Join a stable team with some staff members having worked in practice for over 20 years.
4. The practice has recently gone through a refurbishment but has maintained a real family-friendly feel.
Our clients are a thriving, family-owned practice located in the charming market town of Tamworth. They believe in fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. You’ll have the autonomy to lead, innovate, and mentor while being part of a close-knit team dedicated to delivering the highest standards of veterinary care. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to shape the future of a practice with deep community roots and a commitment to the best possible veterinary care via our modern, state-of-the-art practice that is spacious, air-conditioned, and carries all of the high-end equipment you are used to.
You will be working with partners, plus 4 vets, 6 nurses, and 3 receptionists, and 2 practice managers.
Our clients would like to welcome an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with their practice owners and be supported by our skilled practice manager and clinical team to deliver high-quality veterinary care to patients and clients while mentoring junior vets to fulfill their potential within the practice.
Ideally, you would have experience in more complicated surgical and medical cases to support our more junior members of the team. As Lead Vet, you’ll share innovative ideas with the practice partners to enhance performance and care standards, in addition to collaborating with the practice owners and manager to drive the practice forward.
The Package:
Salary up to £80,000

* Professional Development: Further study towards veterinary management courses or clinical qualifications will be funded and encouraged.
