As Quality Assurer/Trainer, you will be responsible for the systematic monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of the accountancy teams' work and for the onboarding, upskilling, and continuous training and development of the accountancy teams.
We are looking for a self-motivated, quality-centric Accountancy professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience as an accountant, quality assurance and/or auditing, and training.
About the role:
1. Plan, execute, and oversee quality assurance cycle for all members of the accountancy teams, testing for quality and compliance.
2. Train the Accounting Teams (UK & Offshore), tailoring training needs to meet the diverse needs of others to set them up for success.
3. Review and report on the work of the accounting team to ensure feedback is given and quality plus accuracy is maintained at the highest level.
4. Accompany evaluations with meaningful and constructive feedback.
5. Map the need for training and onboarding programs and initiate these projects.
6. Set an example as a hands-on Senior Accountant, championing service excellence and Mazuma’s core values.
About you:
As the Quality Assurer/Trainer, you will have proven experience in accountancy, hold at least an AAT Level 4 qualification, and be confident in using IT-based Accounting software. You will possess:
1. A passion for delivering training, as well as a desire for continual learning and development is essential.
2. Previous experience of designing, delivering, and facilitating training sessions is preferred.
3. Previous experience of quality assurance or auditing.
4. Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills.
5. High attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team and able to use own initiative.
7. A keen eye for detail.
8. The ability to work without supervision.
