McGregor Boyall Procurement are working with our market leading FS client who require a Category Management specialist for the Professional Services business area. The opportunity will lend itself to an individual who can embrace and seamlessly thread the complexities of Procurement and Professional Services business initiatives. You will be joining a seasoned team and will need to hit the ground running from day, whilst being supported in your first 6 months with a fully inclusive on-boarding programme. Due to the nationwide office coverage, our client can offer this post to someone in most parts of the country, to include London, Scotland, Midlands, East Anglia, Southwest, South coast, North of England; this will be a hybrid role with trips to the office location worked out on an ad-hoc basis. On average 50% split hybrid working. Some key responsibilities: The main purpose of the role is to maximise value through the end-to-end commercial management of all corporate key suppliers and third party spend. As part of the team, you'll help build and deliver category plans and driving value from the supply chain. You'll be instrumental in delivering balanced cost reductions and be accountable for the management of all relevant category or sub-category spend. You will collaborate with and effectively manage a range of stakeholders, thus drawing on your strong communication and negotiation skills. The successful post-holder will possess the following skills. Proven expertise in commercial and stakeholder management, ideally within the professional services category. Experience leading and managing end-to-end sourcing processes for optimized outcomes. Skilled in developing and negotiating high-value agreements that deliver maximum corporate value. Strong background in Category Management ideally within a complex corporate environment. CIPS qualification, desirable but not essential. Benefits & Compensation.
