The role includes the provision of Windows 11 (and beyond) endpoints, application packaging and fault finding and endpoint patching. The Senior Technical Analyst will be expected to meet and exceed agreed service levels for the deployment of updated applications, security patches and upgrades. The Senior Technical Analyst will demonstrate extensive skills in enterprise OS deployment, application packaging and fault finding. They will also demonstrate that they can take ownership of tasks and projects and see them through to conclusion in pressured environments. Main responsibilities Ownership of all aspect of endpoint technical infrastructure. Development and deployment of Windows desktop images Application packaging and deployment Meet and exceed security patching SLAs across all managed endpoints Meet and exceed application update SLAs Troubleshooting desktop, application and performance related issues. Work with project teams to understand application requirements for new and upgraded endpoint applications. Intune device management and maintenance Use monitoring tools to identify potential issues before they become user affecting. Work with Citrix team to share configurations and achieve a consistent user experience across physical desktops and Citrix published desktops/AVD. Take part in Ocorian on-call rota nijobs Qualifications Required Experience in designing, developing and deploying Windows desktop operating systems across medium and large enterprises. Experience is application packaging, deployment and fault finding. Experience with Microsoft Intune. Patch management / Vulnerability remediation using 3rd party tools like: Qualys. In-depth knowledge of Windows desktop operating system deployment methods. Experience with Azure Active Directory and Office 365. Good understanding of tools used in the deployment of desktops and applications such as PowerShell, Sysinternals tools, Orca etc. Knowledge of Microsoft AoVPN and other client VPN solutions. Understanding of networking protocols. Good interpersonal skills and ability to interpret user requirements and translate them into a technical design. Ability to work to deadlines and when under pressure. Have a strong service delivery focus.
