In this role, you will oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed within the designated time frame and budget. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction workers to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Responsibilities Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling and implementation. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all deadlines are met. Communicate with architects, engineers, and construction workers to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Manage project budgets, performing cost analyses and ensuring that costs remain within the designated budget. Ensure that all construction work adheres to safety, building codes, and regulatory requirements. Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors. Presence on site to monitor progress and ensure that everything is on track. Communicate project progress to senior management and other stakeholders regularly. Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date. Recruit, train, and supervise project staff as needed. Requirements At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry. Strong leadership and organisational skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Thorough knowledge of construction materials, methods, and laws and regulations. Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple projects at once. Specifics This job will require regular travel and overnight stays on each project. Wage: TBD depending on qualifications and experience Must hold a driving licence and have own vehicle. Full-time hours.
