Job summary Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Research Fellow in Early Phase Clinical Trials at the Drug Development Unit at the Institute of Cancer Research and The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. The Drug Development Unit, a designated Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre, is widely regarded as the worldwide leader in phase I clinical trials. We have our own dedicated in-patient and daycare (and some outpatient facilities) unit, Oak Ward, within the Royal Marsden. To be considered applicants must meet the following essential criteria: full registration with the General Medical Council, MRCP, and some experience of the management of patients with oncological malignancies. Main duties of the job This post is an excellent opportunity to be centrally involved in the delivery of care to patients involved in clinical trials of experimental anti-cancer drugs and other clinical research performed in patients with advanced cancer. In addition, the applicant will gain clinical experience in a wide range of adult malignancies, as well as participate in trial preparation and manuscript writing.
