Nursery: Bright Horizons **** Day Nursery and Preschool
We are looking for a full time, nursery-based Housekeeper to join our Bright Horizons (Nursery), situated (location / commuting links).

What you’ll be doing
1. Keep the Nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, staff and families
2. Encourage and model behaviour, which is appropriate in a child environment, being professional at all times
3. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day
4. Carry out daily laundry duties as required
5. Respond appropriately to issues requiring confidentiality, for example being aware of personal information regarding children
6. Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking certain domestic tasks within the nursery e.g., supporting over mealtimes and cleaning of equipment
What we’re looking for
1. Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property
2. Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post
3. Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
4. Great communication skills, with both colleagues, children, and parents
