Role description:
1. Provide professional leadership primarily in Offshore Renewable Energy and Energy Transition projects at a senior management level, establishing and consolidating relationships with clients, taking ownership for the delivery of the regions technical capability, supporting the delivery of projects or specialised components of projects
2. Support the development of Arcadis capability in Offshore Renewables and build and maintain a professional reputation as an individual and for Arcadis
3. May undertake a Project Management Role in line with Arcadis Project Management Academy competence requirements
4. Take a leadership role with the project team, providing direction and leading by example where appropriate
5. Manage the delivery of projects in accordance with Management Systems to meet time, quality, budgetary and health and safety targets
6. Manage all aspects of the client relationship so that delivery meets or exceeds client expectations
7. Working to ensure maximum client satisfaction, championing client care and proactively working with the client
8. Promote both the regional and global culture of the business
9. To provide temporary embedded support to key clients as required.
Role accountabilities:
10. Lead by example to promote continual improvement in SHE performance across the business
11. Build relationships with clients to identify and realise business opportunities and to ensure that client expectations and Arcadis commercial objectives are met or exceeded
12. Engage with and champions the involvement and inclusion of Arcadis Global Design resources, facilitating two way feedback on the performance of project teams using Arcadis Global Design resources
13. Provide technical leadership at a subject level
14. Evaluate technical competence of staff proposed for projects and identify specific training and mentoring needs
15. Take technical line management responsibility for the development and performance management of team members to support the delivery of Arcadis business
16. Supports recruitment process and are personally involved in the selection process of Principal Engineers and Associate Technical Directors
17. Lead the technical delivery of complex projects ensuring client satisfaction, effective project management and good communication and collaboration between Arcadis colleagues
18. Ensure that local staff understand the benefits of their utilisation as team resources
19. Lead on the design of innovative engineering solutions for clients that resolve complex problems
20. Coach and mentor engineering professionals to support the development of Arcadis talent pool
21. When appointed in the role of a Project Manager, will be managing the commercial aspects of the project (contract, invoicing, debt, client management)
22. When appointed in the role of a Project Manager, will be ensuring that effective financial and project management controls are in place and deployed to enable monitoring, modification and forecasting as appropriate.
23. When appointed in the role of a Project Manager, will be driving project performance, service delivery and technical and commercial outcomes and undertaking reviews, ensuring client delivery is above expectation.
24. When appointed in the role of a Project Manager, will be communicating with team members to ensure that they understand, and become engaged with, the programme/project strategy, brief and client requirements
25. When appointed in the role of a Project Manager, will be managing the acquisition, deployment and management of resources for the project to ensure optimal resource allocation for the project
26. When appointed in the role of a Project Manager, will be responsible for the election and management of suppliers, sub-consultants and contractors associated with projects
27. Through an effective review process, oversee the delivery of projects to time, meeting both quality and budgetary targets, whilst striving to exceed client expectations
28. Perform independent technical review for complex and/or major projects
29. Encourage innovative and entrepreneurial thinking amongst team members
30. Promote and market all facets of the companys services during client interfaces
31. Manage technical client relationships with key clients and plays a major role in selling

36. Significant knowledge and track record in an Offshore Renewables Engineering role
