Job Description:
The Role: Within the Science and Lab Solution Organization, the Head of Sales Industry & Testing (IT) will be part of the Industry, Testing and Diagnostic (IT&Dx) Leadership Team and will be a key contributor to the success of the market segment for Western Europe. The successful candidate will provide leadership in setting and implementing the segment strategy in the Northern Region including Sales Reps deployment to optimize growth revenue. This person will ensure there is a balanced sales focus across the Chemistry, Biology and DxRM portfolios. In addition, the person will be responsible for the “Long Tail customer portfolio“, working in close collaboration with the digital sales team to ensure the realization of significant profit out of selling low volume.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Achieve/exceed revenue and profitability plan for the region annually.
2. Develop an aligned and focused Sales Team with clear accountability, ownership, and implementation of commercial best practices.
3. Implement and Execute the Segment Strategies and develop a team that is highly aligned to both initiative expertise and customer need.
4. Ensure cooperation with the Scientific Sales team.
5. Create a strong commercial excellence infrastructure inclusive of forecasting process, funnel management, and business intelligence.
6. Lead monthly business reviews to forecast predictable revenue quarters with strong year over year growth, communicate market updates, gain competitive intelligence, and align on help needed.
7. Focus on and delivery of employee talent development ensuring organizational priorities are met through appropriate coaching, support, mentoring and leadership initiatives to drive strategic success team.
Who you are:
1. Extensive years of commercial experience in the Industry and/or Pharma Market with preferred experience in Production and QC.
