About the opportunity Leading the operation, planning, and maintenance of irrigation systems across the University’s campuses. Providing expert advice and recommendations on irrigation practices, system upgrades, and equipment. Collaborating with contractors, stakeholders, and team members to achieve operational excellence and sustainability goals. About you Year 12 qualification and/or Certificate IV in Horticulture, or equivalent competency. Proven experience in the horticultural industry with expertise in automated irrigation systems. Strong knowledge of irrigation machinery, equipment maintenance, and operations of bores. The ability to accurately interpret CAD drawings, manuals, and plans. Exceptional team leadership and coordination skills, with experience supervising staff and contractors. Special requirements Current unrestricted C Class driver’s licence. MR class licence (desirable). Availability to respond to irrigation faults and emergencies outside standard hours.
