The Role: With a long established and successful business with a consistent demonstrable track record of success, the Asset Recovery team, is highly proficient and long established as one of the key service lines within the firm. As a result of expansion, we currently have a rare opportunity for an Asset Recovery Surveyor with outstanding career prospects to join on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers the standard 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. The team deal with a wide range of asset types across the UK supporting Partners within the firm who are appointed as Fixed Charge Receivers by a variety of secured lenders and charge holders. The role requires a strategic approach and the ability to assess and apply the most appropriate strategy to deliver best financial outcomes. The work is diverse and multifaceted and whilst experience in the sector is strongly preferred it is not essential. The environment will allow the individual to advance their understanding of property insolvency and cultivate strategic thinking abilities and problem-solving agility. Key Responsibilities: As an Asset Recovery Surveyor, your primary responsibilities will include: Supporting the receivers in developing appropriate strategic asset realisation solutions. Liaising with external parties and suppliers including appointed agents (disposal and letting) solicitors, asset managers, insurers and contractors. Overseeing the disposal of assets and regularly reviewing progress. Liaising with stakeholders including lenders, borrowers, occupiers and insolvency office holders (Administrators, Liquidators and the like). Reporting to clients both verbally and in writing with case updates. Compilation and updating of estimated outcome statements. General day to day file and case management. Opportunity to work towards becoming a Registered Property Receiver (RPR) and full membership of NARA (The Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers). Ideal Candidate Profile: To excel in this role, you should have: Ideally a minimum 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a General Practice Surveyor. Chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Self-motivated, ambitious and driven to develop professionally. Excellent Attitude - Team player essential. Interested in the property insolvency sector Passionate about your career, personable and professional. The capability to work independently, and part of a large multi-disciplinary team. A full UK Driving Licence to accommodate the travel requirements of the role.
