Known for its innovative solutions and unmatched industry expertise, this consultancy helps public sector and defence clients overcome complex challenges and achieve impactful results. As a Service Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to design and deliver seamless, user-centred services for major government and security programmes. Working at the forefront of innovation, you’ll be pivotal in shaping critical services that support national security and public safety initiatives. Role Responsibilities : • Conduct research and analysis to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviours. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define measurable goals and objectives for comprehensive services. • Create service blueprints, customer journey maps, and other artefacts to visualize end-to-end service experiences. • Identify opportunities for service improvement and design solutions aligned with user needs and business objectives. • Lead workshops and co-design sessions, collaborating with users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. • Work alongside product managers, developers, and user researchers to integrate insights into service designs and ensure effective implementation. • Continuously improve service experiences through user testing and feedback. Ideal Candidate Profile : • Proven experience in service design, working on complex, multi-layered service delivery systems. • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methods. • Ability to develop clear and compelling design concepts and articulate them to diverse stakeholders. • Expertise in managing multiple stakeholders and collaborating across teams. • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with strategic thinking and a user-first approach. • Familiarity with agile design processes and the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle). Applicants must hold active SC clearance sponsored by a Central Government or National Security agency (e.g., MoD, Home Office). Prior experience with government digital services (GDS) or DDaT (Digital, Data and Technology) frameworks is essential.
