An exciting opportunity has arisen for Drivers to join the dynamic Primary Care Out of Hours (GMED) Driving Team. We are seeking experienced drivers with a clean driving licence, good geographical knowledge of the Grampian region, IT and communication skills. You will be an enthused person who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills as the post involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team and working closely with clinicians and members of the dispatch teams in a courteous, pleasant and confident manner. The successful applicant should have the ability to support a wide range of professionals to achieve the goals of the service which operates between 18.00 until 08.00 Mon-Fri and 24 hours at weekends. Please note that the service operates during Public Holidays and Festive Periods as well. The successful applicant will be required to have the ability to identify vehicle faults and any associated risks with vehicles or other frequently used pieces of equipment. The applicant should have the ability to drive in all weather conditions safely. The successful applicant will be required to use their own judgment in and around their daily routines where unforeseen circumstances would demand that they must work independently.
