Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Responsibilities
1. Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in the nursery.
2. Support the Nursery Manager in planning and implementing activities that promote learning and development.
3. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
4. Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
Experience
1. Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable.
2. Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
3. Ability to manage and lead activities for children.
4. Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
5. Passion for supporting the growth and well-being of young children.
