Administrative Support Officer (E6485) - Beechwood Primary School
An exciting opportunity for a School Administrative Support Assistant has become available to join our outstanding, highly motivated office team.
Beechwood is a highly successful school with a dynamic staff team, a stimulating curriculum with an international perspective and around 450 pupils who are eager to learn.
This is a front of house role in a very busy school office, and experience working in a similar environment would be an advantage. The role includes a broad range of reception and administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all stakeholders; therefore, we require someone who has a friendly, professional, calm, and courteous manner with a pleasant and helpful attitude.
You will work closely with the School Office Manager and School Business Manager.
Fantastic communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to working in an environment that prioritizes the progress, safety, and wellbeing of pupils is essential. You need to be able to communicate effectively and build relationships with parents/carers, pupils, and visitors to the school.
You must be able to work independently as well as work well as part of a broader staff team under the direction of the Office Manager, School Business Manager, and Headteacher. The successful candidate needs to remain calm under pressure and be discreet at all times.
Knowledge of Arbor and experience of working in a two-form entry school is an advantage.
