We are currently looking for a Deputy Catering Manager on an ongoing temporary basis for a client based in Croydon.
The ideal candidate will be supporting the Catering Manager in managing, supervising and training staff in the preparation and production of all food.
About the Role:
* Responsible for all records to be maintained in respect of Food Hygiene Regulations
* Responsible for managing all processes for Catering Services
* Responsible for ensuring the delivery of the agreed menu to all patients within the agreed timeframes
* Communicate and liaise with a variety of groups both internal and external from the Trust's Senior Managers to include Patients Forum, Suppliers and Staff
* Conduct reviews, Appraisals and Staff Development to ensure appropriate Training Programmes are incorporated into all Service Planning
About you:
* Understanding of food hygiene regulations
* Knowledge of the catering process including HACCP identifications
* Advanced food and hygiene diploma Health and Safety qualifications
* Experience of supervising staff in catering environments
* Ability to communicate effectively
