Breakdown Technician Job Description
Reporting to –
* Workshop Controller
* Service Manager
The Role –
* Provide 24hr roadside assistance to the MAN network across Hampshire.
* Maintain an average 60-minute attendance time.
* Ensure all Mobile 24 jobs are attended keeping refusals at zero.
* Ensure all paperwork including clock cards are processed within 24hrs.
* Manage all parts in/out within a 24hrs.
* Adhere to IVR health and safety procedures.
* Adhere to all customers on site health and safety policies.
* Maintain excellent levels of communication with the Service and Parts Department
* Ensure the workshop van is kept presentable inside and out.
* Ensure daily checks of the van are carried out. Faults should be raised with your line manager.
* Manage customer expectations at the roadside and back till handover at the workshop.
Contract Details
* Workshop hours – 7.00 – 16.0
* Standby rate - £26 per day
* Overtime paid at 150% of time plus half.
* Sunday and Bank Holidays paid at 200% double time.
* Working 12 days on 2 days off (every other weekend off)
* Quarterly bonus £400 paid if average time is below 60mins and zero refusals.
* Christmas day/New year day £120 standby each.
