Teaching Assistant SEN
Prospero Teaching is working with a SEN School based in Huyton (L36), which deals with students with additional needs, mental health issues, and learning difficulties.
The pupils have usually experienced some form of trauma, neglect, or chaotic home life, or all of these.
Your role is to build a connection with the young people and act as a mentor and role model for the students.
You must have a strong TA or tutoring background with students from PRUs or SEMH schools.

You will support the pupil in the classroom and out of the classroom on a more vocational basis.
The position is open to all experienced candidates who have a strong background in mentoring children and young adults. Depending on performance, the school may consider extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
