This post offers an excitingopportunity for a Clinical/Educational Psychologist or PsychologicalPractitioner to work in Beechwood College, a specialist residential college for Autistic individuals .
This Band 7/8a role would besuitable for a new/recently qualified Clinical/Educational Psychologists or aRegistered Clinician ( Nurse, Speech and Language Therapist, OccupationalTherapist) with further training in psychological therapies suitable for peoplewith Autistic individuals.
The clinician will join a vibrant and established clinical team consisting of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Behaviour Support Nurse,Assistant Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, OccupationalTherapists, Dietician, Physiotherapist.
Main duties of the job
They will be part of thisspecialist multidisciplinary team delivering behaviour support and psychological therapy to both residential andday students at the college.
The post holder will have theopportunity to work under the supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologistto provide comprehensive assessment and intervention. They will also have anopportunity to develop their ownsupervision skills, as appropriate, with Assistant Psychologists and/orTrainee placements.

To contribute to the development oflocal team policies and procedures in order to facilitate improvements inservice quality
To supervise and train otherprofessionals and contribute to the training of trainee clinical psychologists
To utilise specialised researchskills for audit, policy and service development, and research.
