Senior Youth Worker – Supporting Girls, Young Women, Non-Binary and Trans People
We’re looking for a passionate Senior Youth Worker to join our amazing team and make it possible for girls, young women, non-binary and trans young people to create their own hopeful futures, free from violence and harm.
You will be embedded within our award-winning creative spaces, working directly with girls, young women, non-binary and trans young people to imagine and achieve change for themselves and their communities. You will be exceptional at building trusted relationships, committed to anti-oppressive behaviours and practice, full of creative energy and passionate about supporting young people in creating their own hopeful futures, free from violence and harm.
This post is exciting, challenging and varied. You will be responsible for directly supporting, safeguarding and empowering young people to imagine and achieve change for themselves and their communities. You will be exceptional at building trusted relationships with young people – ensuring their voices are centred at all times. You must be committed to anti-oppressive behaviours and practice as part of your active solidarity with marginalised, minoritised and racialised people.

This post holder will be responsible for supporting young women, non-binary and trans young people who are most at risk of violence, abuse and exploitation, which disproportionately impacts upon racialised people and those whose identities are marginalised. Therefore we specifically welcome applicants who share these experiences, hold a deep understanding of and stand in solidarity with marginalised, minoritised and racialised people.
