Randstad C&P are currently working with a well-established client, focused on providing an exceptional service whilst being economically friendly. My client is on the lookout for an engineer to join their telecomms contract. An engineer with an electrical bias who is able to turn their hand to mechanical duties when required, mostly consisting of refrigeration would be perfect OR someone with a hunger to develop their skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Respond to pre-planned and reactive maintenance across telecomm centres
2. Cover electrical and mechanical (Refrigeration) maintenance and fault-finding
3. Cover up and down the North East of England for a range of various sized telecomm centres
4. Complete all relevant reports on tablet/laptop as provided
5. Part of an on-call rota (1 in 6 weeks)
6. Provide excellent customer service
Ideal Candidate:
1. NVQ level 3 Electrical Installations or equivalent (mandatory)
2. 18th edition (mandatory)
3. 2391 inspection and testing (mandatory)
4. F-Gas (Desirable, training can be provided)
5. Experience of large industrial plant maintenance is essential
6. Ability to pass BPSS Security clearance and SC Clearance
7. Full clean driving licence
