Heading into our 15th year we are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join the commercial team to maximise the rapid growth forecast over the next five years. Our main consultancy service focuses on energy management, carbon reporting and energy optimisation, with the team supporting on a number of services including Heat Decarbonisation Plans (HDPs), Net Zero Roadmaps (NZR) and supporting on Climate Change Agreements (CCAs). Carbon Architecture also have a Data Analytics platform (InMetriks), which is an energy data analytics service for industry and commercial buildings, focusing on energy, water and waste minimisation. That s how deliver value for our customers, and building systems that lead the way And as a Senior Business Development Manager with Carbon Architecture, you ll do it by Managing the small BDE team, ensuring that the activity and quality of outreach is of a very good standard and achieving KPIs. Outreach to potential new clients Organising data collection for outreach, ensuring that the BDM team is introduced to the right ICP for each campaign. Understanding a business's needs and pitch CA's relevant products as a solution to those needs. Leading sales projects / negotiations through to closing. Responding to sales requests and calculating client quotations Closing medium sized opportunities for Green Mark, working from initial outreach to contract signature. Attend conferences and industry events to promote product solutions and identify new prospects Develop and maintain a robust, targeted deal pipeline to continuously grow the business and generate sales Ad hoc sales support for the Head of Commercial and SLT Develop and maintain CRM Collaboration with the Bellrock Group for cross selling strategies and implementation. What does it take? If you re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Senior Business Development Manager, you ll need An experienced solution-seller with minimum of three years b2b sales experience Experience in selling for consultancy business, ideally within energy and carbon. Experience of generating new business sales and hitting targets Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques Excellent presentation skills Strong communication, written, verbal and negotiation skills Results-oriented, commercially savvy solution seller Resilient self-starter, sales hunter able to work in a team and autonomously Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed Experience of CRM systems Full driving license Working arrangements We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the London Paddington office and working two days a week with the team and the rest of the week can be worked from home.
