Tetra Tech, a leading provider of professional services to the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), is seeking experienced Project Managers to join their team. You will be part of an established defence team working on various stages of a programme of works.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Manage end-to-end project activities, including feasibility, construction, and commissioning, ensuring timely delivery in line with contractual obligations.
2. Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
3. Monitor project progress, manage resources, and address variances proactively.
4. Oversee financial performance, prepare reports, and ensure adherence to budgets.
5. Manage project risks, change, and quality assurance processes.
6. Coordinate with teams to establish objectives and workflows aligned with the project lifecycle.
7. Develop stakeholder management and communication plans to support project objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience delivering complex defence infrastructure projects, preferably in buildings and civils.
* Leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams and coaching junior staff.
* Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, delivering on time and within scope.
* Strong negotiation, budgeting, and financial forecasting skills.
* Experience with risk management and regulatory compliance.
* Excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders.
* Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, Viewpoint, and CEMAR.
* Knowledge of project planning tools like risk registers and project plans.
* Relevant professional qualifications such as NEC 3/4 or equivalent are preferred.
* Security clearance (SC) or eligibility to obtain it.
* A valid driving license is desirable.
Location and Travel: Projects are based across East Anglia, Northamptonshire, and Gloucestershire, with some travel to sites required.
