Are you an experienced payroll professional? We're seeking a meticulous Part-Time Payroll Manager to join our dynamic entertainment team. This role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in ensuring our staff are paid accurately and on time, all while navigating the complexities of the entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process variable payrolls, including fluctuating hours, overtime, and different pay structures across a diverse workforce.
Ensure full compliance with UK payroll legislation, tax codes, pensions, and other legal requirements.
Oversee PAYE, National Insurance, and other statutory deductions, ensuring accurate submissions to HMRC.
Work closely with department heads to gather and verify payroll data
Process holiday pay, sick pay, and maternity/paternity leave with a focus on individual entitlements.
Provide support in audits and respond to any payroll-related queries from staff
Act as the point of contact for providers
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience managing variable payrolls in an environment with fluctuating pay structures.
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, including tax, pensions, and benefits.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with payroll software and systems; experience with Sage or similar platforms is an advantage.
A proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving and communication.
