Job Description
We are currently partnering with an established Law Firm that has been practicing for 35 years, recruiting for a permanent Legal Secretary to join the team in their Birmingham office.
The role is full time, offering a negotiable salary, and the start date will be subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Providing full support to the team of Solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently
2. Creating and amending legal documents
3. Handling and managing telephone calls, visitors, and enquiries
4. Administering filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files
5. Preparing correspondence using the case management system
6. Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork
7. Ensuring compliance with quality standards and the firm’s policies in general
Experience required:
1. Experience and knowledge working within a Residential Conveyancing department would be ideal
2. Good telephone manner, and be comfortable speaking to clients in person and on the phone
