Senior Legal Counsel
An innovative charitable organisation focused on solving global environmental challenges, is looking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team.
Fully remote working available with occasional trips to the head office.
Reporting to the General Counsel, the role will focus on providing advice and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of complex agreements including commercial contracts, supplier terms, collaboration agreements, and memoranda of understanding as required. You will also be responsible for Identifying, analysing, and advising on a broad range of legal, compliance and regulatory issues including in relation to contractual matters, charity law compliance, data protection and privacy, employment, anti-bribery and corruption, commercial contracts, intellectual property licensing, brand management and protection, and competition law. In addition, you will assist with improving operational working practices and liaise with colleagues in international offices.
Applications are sought from England & Wales qualified Solicitors who have a minimum of 4 years PQE and who have a demonstrable experience of drafting, advising on and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts. Experience of managing intellectual property and licensing is also preferred along with a working knowledge of charity law compliance, employment and competition law. Strong IT skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, is also key.
