Marketing and Communications Officer

Salary Scp 27 – 30 £27,731 – £30,765 pa pro rata
25 Hours per week (Work Pattern to be agreed)
Based in Caerphilly (with the requirement to work from regional bases when necessary)
About the role
The role of our Marketing and Communications Officer is to promote and implement the organisation’s marketing strategy. As the lead officer for GAVO publications and social media, the Officer will provide support to colleagues in all areas of communications to ensure consistency in the use of the GAVO brand. The post holder will ensure corporate standards for communications and publications are met and maintained. The officer will work with colleagues to obtain quality information, articles and case studies to support the marketing of GAVO. GAVO will be celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2027 and the role will be pivotal to ensuring maximum publicity and engagement.
About you
A creative and confident team player, the successful candidate will have key knowledge and an understanding of marketing and communications within similar organisations, have experience in developing and maintaining websites, generating content and use of appropriate web design platforms. Experience in a professional capacity of social networking sites such as Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram is also essential.
