About: SailGP is the world’s most exciting racing on-water. The annual, global championship – established in 2018 and now in its third season – features national teams battling in short, intense races at iconic stadium-style venues across the globe. Key Responsibilities: Ability to coordinate warehouse logistics and maintain stock levels to ensure smooth daily operations Receive inward goods, reviewing delivery docs, and entering into the stock management system. Ensuring that it is put away in a timely manner. Daily morning stock checks and replenishments Comprehensive inventory management - proficiency in tracking stock levels and ensuring accurate record keeping Warehouse Operations- Coordinating or performing preventative & unplanned machinery maintenance Identify Hazards and factory inefficiencies and report them to management. Coordinate the installation of new equipment and ensure maintenance requirements are recorded and proper handover is done. Schedule and perform factory equipment maintenance. Keeping track of SailGP owned tools and ensuring that we have items required; Update and Maintain List of Assets & ensure that they are identified. Provide guidance and training to team members on safety and operational protocols of basic machinery during team warehouse inductions. Conduct warehouse inductions for all new starters Working with the management team to define specification and purchase of new assets, and adding new items to asset registers. Logistics coordination - Prepare outbound deliveries to sites, team and required locations Support the Workshop Foreman with general operational tasks and maintenance in and around the facility as required Assist with procurement as and when required Implement the most optimised site layout and storage system. Ensure all stores and storage areas are set out for efficiency, maintained and clean at all times to the best standard. Schedule and manage routine workshop clean-up’s with the team to maintain a clean and safe working environment Work closely with Team Leaders and Leadership team to meet stock demands and manage departmental workshop logistics Ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, always promoting a culture of safety in the workshop Champion and coordinate recycling streams and overall waste management of the facility Key Expectations: Problem solving adaptability- Have the ability to manage urgent shipments, delays or operational disruptions effectively.
