We are looking to appoint a full-time outstanding Teacher of Humanities who can inspire and excite students in their learning of Humanities. You will be joining a well-resourced department that is driven in our focus on raising achievement. Humanities, and their discrete subjects, are popular options at GCSE and the post offers outstanding opportunities for continuous personal and professional development for a highly motivated and ambitious teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher. The person appointed would be supported by the Second in Charge of Humanities and will join a team of specialist teachers in the Humanities department.

The successful candidate will have:
1. Qualified Teacher Status
2. Experience of teaching Geography, History or RE
3. An excellent teacher who is passionate about learning and has strong subject knowledge

6. Able to motivate and inspire students and staff to achieve their full potential
7. Energetic and have a can-do attitude

9. Committed to safeguarding and the happiness and wellbeing of everyone at the Academy
10. Prepared to be involved in leading co-curricular activities either within or outside of their teaching subject
