Customer Service Advisor
Barker Munro recruitment have a new role as a Customer Service Advisor working for a long established insurance broker with an exceptional reputation for customer service within their specialist field. We are looking for an ambitious individual who is capable of providing outstanding customer service to new and existing clients. This opportunity will suit someone who ideally already has a track record of delivering customer service but equally we are open to applications from individuals who are seeking an opportunity to get your ‘foot in the door’ for a career within the customer service world.
The role of Insurance Advisor is a multi-faceted role, which requires the ability to multi-task and understand the need to create and maintain long term relationships with customers. As a self-motivated friendly individual, there will be an expectation to show initiative, be organised and be driven to provide fantastic service and expert advice to clients while supporting the Agents in handling existing insurance accounts.
You will work at the heart of their expanding local insurance business, proactively identifying new cross-selling opportunities for General Insurance, Financial Services and Risk Management Services. Insurance knowledge isn’t essential. We’re keen to source the right fit of person who can then learn the insurance business. Some experience and exposure to customer service, working in an office, answering calls, and dealing with customers in person are all skills that are required.
The salary is competitive and the position is full time standard office hours of 9am – 5pm, five days a week. There may be occasional weekend work during the course of the year.
