The successful post holder will manage all aspects of Asbestos across the organisations assets ensuring services are maintained and improved. You will undertake significant work in the commercial and residential property sector, and work alongside our colleagues from other disciplines on some exciting projects that are shaping the environment we live and work in.
YOUR JOB
1. Overseeing delivery of site and office-based asbestos and hazardous materials projects
2. Overseeing contractors that perform asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition projects
3. To provide technical expertise to the Compliance Lead to enable their duties to be fulfilled effectively
4. Undertaking asbestos verification works
5. To act as a subject matter expert for the company, in relation to fire safety
6. Support, develop and maintain the Housing Asbestos management policy
7. To provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff at all levels of the organisation and act as a focal point for the management of asbestos related matters
Working
Hours: 37 per week, Monday - Friday
Requirements:
8. Experience in a similar role, ideally with residential property knowledge
9. Minimum 3 years' experience within the Asbestos sector, property management or similar sector
10. Experience of working in a building compliance or asbestos service environment
11. Technical acumen with asbestos in design, management and use of residential buildings
12. Knowledge of asbestos processes and guidance/best practice
13. Specialist knowledge of asbestos and its applications to housing
14. P403 and P404 and/or P402 OR S301 (W504) with CoCA
