Teaching Personnel is seeking Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, and Behaviour Mentors for schools in Haywards Heath and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in schools catering to students aged 4-19, supporting their learning and personal development. We’re Looking for Candidates With SEN Experience We are particularly interested in candidates with experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Ideal candidates will: Have experience working with SEN pupils in a school or similar environment ( strongly desirable ) Be confident in providing 1:1 or small group support for vulnerable students Have worked as a teaching assistant, support worker, care worker, or sports coach Be enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping students with additional needs succeed Be passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment Be comfortable assisting teachers with classroom support and behaviour management Your Role Will Include Providing tailored support to SEN students across different age groups Motivating and encouraging students to engage in learning and participate in school life Working closely with teachers to manage classroom activities and behaviour Delivering 1:1 or small group interventions to help meet individual student needs If you are passionate about SEN education and want to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable young people, we would love to hear from you To Apply: Please send your up-to-date CV or contact Hazel at the Brighton Branch for further information.
