CGL Halton is an adult treatment and recovery service providing pharmacological and psychosocial interventions to the community facing issues with drugs and alcohol use. As an Apprentice Administrator, you will play an important part in delivering inclusive, person-centred support to those accessing our services. Please apply directly through the following link: Administrator Apprentice - Runcorn | Apprenticeship Vacancies What You’ll Learn During Your Apprenticeship: Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll gain skills and experience in areas such as: Acting as the first point of contact, ensuring service users and visitors are greeted with a friendly and efficient approach, and that all interactions are handled promptly and courteously. Monitoring and managing office supplies, including ordering stationery and other necessities. Managing and maintaining emails and referral inboxes effectively. Supporting and accurately recording referrals into the office, working closely with the Engagement Team. Assisting with GP communications, including preparing and managing letters and emails to GP practices. Handling prescription administration duties, including generating and printing prescriptions, with full training provided. Coordinating operational requirements for the project base, such as scheduling and managing room bookings. We’re looking for someone with: An interest in the social care field, particularly in substance use and recovery. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to collaborate with managers, colleagues, and peers to achieve shared goals. Effective time management and the ability to work independently when needed. Familiarity with IT applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel. A commitment to personal and professional development, with a proactive approach to learning. A passion for creating positive outcomes for the people we support and for yourself.
