Job summary We are seeking a Screening Administration Manager to join the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of highly motivated, professional staff who take pride in providing excellent services for our patients. The post holder will work under the supervision of the programme manager and will provide the highest standard of care for patients participating in the national Bowel Cancer Screening programme. The post holder will also provide guidance and leadership, for the administrators within the bowel screening team. Main duties of the job The post holder will need to demonstrate organisational skills and have the ability to time manage and prioritise accordingly. The post holder will be expected to support the programme manager and attend internal and external meetings and deputise where appropriate. Provide accurate data and highlight any anomalies which are outside the Bowel Screening National Performance targets. Staff Management Provide guidance and leadership, with support from the Programme Manager, for the administrators within the bowel screening team and escalate any issues that cannot be resolved. Manage administrators performance reviews, disciplinary and sickness in line with Trust policies. Ensure effective cover during absences and be flexible to provide cover where necessary.
