This all-boys school caters to students aged 10-16 years with a range of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are currently seeking a confident and committed Cover Supervisor to join their supportive and passionate team.
About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning and that their needs are met. While experience working with SEMH students is desirable, it is not essentialwhat matters most is confidence, resilience, and a passion for making a difference. The school is also committed to offering comprehensive training and professional development for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage students in the absence of the regular class teacher.
Maintain a positive and focused learning environment for students aged 10-16 years with SEMH needs.
Follow lesson plans and ensure students stay on track with their work.
Encourage participation in both classroom and outdoor learning activities, as the school promotes outdoor education.
Support students' social, emotional, and mental health through positive interactions and guidance.

Ability to manage classroom behaviour in a calm, supportive manner.
A passion for outdoor activities and a willingness to engage in the schools outdoor learning programs.
