About the role
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Graphic Design Manager to lead and inspire our design team. The Graphic Design Manager is essential in driving the creative direction of our projects, ensuring high-quality designs across all channels, including Digital. The Graphic Design Manager will have a strong background in graphic design, a passion for creativity, and excellent leadership skills to help direct the team.
Key responsibilities include:
4. Creative Direction & Strategy: Lead the development and execution of creative concepts for a wide variety of design projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and overall marketing strategies.
5. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of graphic designers, fostering a collaborative, creative, and results-driven environment.
6. Design Oversight: Oversee the design process from concept to final execution across multiple marketing channels, including print and digital.
7. Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve the visual identity of the brand, ensuring all design work adheres to the established brand standards and communicates the desired message effectively.
8. Innovation: Encourage and implement innovative designs that keep the company’s visual presence fresh and competitive. Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
9. Digital Asset Production: Lead the creation and optimisation of digital assets, including display advanced online promotional content. Ensure these assets are aligned with the overall marketing strategy and brand guidelines.
10. Project Management: Oversee multiple design projects, balancing priorities and timelines, and ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of design assets.
11. Creative Brief Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand design requirements, develop clear creative briefs, and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
12. Stakeholder Interaction: Present and explain design concepts and ideas to internal teams, stakeholders, gathering feedback and making necessary revisions.
About you
13. Proven experience (5+ years) in Graphic Design with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity.
14. Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.
15. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) but also experience or knowledge in other design platforms (Figma or other alternatives).
16. Expertise in AI-driven tools that enhance design workflow.
17. Experience in producing digital assets, including display ads, banners, and social media content, with a strong understanding of the digital landscape.
18. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout.
19. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other stakeholders and departments.
20. A passion for design, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on producing high-quality work.
21. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
