Business Analyst
Location: Home based
Hours: 21 hours per week – 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £32,897 per annum based on 21 hours per week - Full time equivalent - £54,829 per annum
The role
We are currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst. The role is part-time, 21 hours a week and we are happy to talk about a flexible working to suit.
We have big ambitions, and to achieve these have a small procurement team that support each service area with sourcing activities to ensure residents receive quality supplies and services. We recognise the need to underpin all procurement planning with accurate and reliable information to support us demonstrate compliance and best value and want to make considerable improvements in these areas.
In this role you will be responsible for independently analysing, documenting, and communicating information working with each Head of Service and Procurement Business Partner. You will also work with our Project Managers to document and develop local and national contract register based on Housing 21 spend data.
While this role is home based you will need to travel into the Head Office in Birmingham as and when required.

What we’re looking for
The requirements for the role include:
• Strong business analysis skills, including documenting business and technical requirements.
• Experience working closely alongside developers and testers i.e. to develop a contract management app
• Significant experience of using Experience of working with data, Profix, QL Finance, QL housing, Power BI excel and system configuration changes.
• Experience of producing statistical and qualitative reports which are visually appealing and proven ability to produce informative, relevant and user-friendly reports
• Knowledge and experience of using and building Power Apps
• Highly proficient in business analysis using a range of techniques, to facilitate evidence-based decision making
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to create and sustain effective stakeholder relationships, across all levels
